Artcite’s 6th Annual Fahrenheit Festival
Artcite’s BIG ART BURN tomorrow night @ the Town of LaSalle’s Vollmer Recreation Centre at 2121 Laurier Parkway (turn left at the light, just before Sandwich Secondary).Lots of parking and the event is located not at the Rec Centre but in a large field to the left of the centre — just look for the large white tents.Doors @ 6:45 pm and the event starts at 8:00 pm.

WindsorEats/ScaleDown’s City Cycle bike ride. Join these two masterful blog sites as participants travel together on their bicycles to visit some historic sites on the Doors Open tour. Not up for riding your bike but still want to see some of Windsor’s amazing heritage buildings? The Doors Open self-guided tour runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Visit their site for exact schedules. Up for riding your bike but not up for exploring our architectural heritage? Windsor’s Bicycling Committee is hosting their first ever Riverside Ride 2008. Participants will ride their bikes from two locations (Alexander Park to the east and Assumption Park to the west) and converge on Chares Clarke Square to enjoy soe live music and refreshments courtesy of the Windsor Bicycling Committee. Start time is 11:00 am.

Is there a bus that goes the Holiday Inn Select, and mom won’t let me cross Huron Church road alone, especially at night! So I guess that I am SOL on this meeting.
I believe the Central 3 crosses Huron Church onto Prince Rd… So I think you’d be safe… An alternative could be the ped overpass near Assumption HS…
