Now, if only we could get our municipal leaders to read and care as much about the inner-workings of cities as the President-Elect in the US, our job would be MUCH easier!

    There are two copies available at the Windsor Public Library of; The Death and Life of Great American Cities plus other works by Jane Jacobs. I also saw copies for sale at Chapters at wherelese thee mall.

    Also must reads by Jane Jacobs are and available at the Library;

    The Nature of Economies and Cities and the Wealth of Nations

    Chris was probably asleep when the above popped into his mail box! Just a hunch.

      Yup - sawing logs!  That was our never-sleeping-always-reading UrbanRat who set me that link.  What would we do without the Rat?

      I wonder how long it’ll take the Obama-Biden administration to realize that Jacobs was a draft dodger and completey write off what she wrote about as red-propaganda, though.
