Mark Your Calendars

By James | October 14, 2008 |

This post is a personal favour to my wonderful wife (she is so super cool) and as a nod to the great works done for the community by the following: The AIDS Committee of Windsor, Fringe Festival, Council on Aging and the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County.

9th Annual Magical Masquerade

Spirits will be high at Eastway Toyota/Lexus of Windsor on Thursday, October 30, as one again, the AIDS Committee of Windsor, Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County, Actors Theatre of Windsor: Windsor International Fringe Festival, and the Council on Aging host the 9th Annual Magical Masquerade.

The stars foretell a spirited evening of fun and frivolity with buskers, live music, a costume contest, and many chances to win great prizes! Guests also have the opportunity to sit for a private palm or card reading with a mystic. They will also enjoy wonderful appetizers full of tempting treats conjured up by: Koolini, St. Clair Centre for the Arts, Piccolos, Royal Marquis, Gourmet Emporium, and Crepe Temptations.

Tickets are only $40 and are available in advance from any of the participating agencies or at the door. The party starts at 7:00 pm and dress is “Black Tie and Denim”—anything goes!

Eastway Toyota/Lexus of Windsor is located at 9375 Tecumseh Road East.

Proceeds from this fundraiser are shared equally

by the host organizations.

Please call 519-973-0222 for ticket information.

Since your wife will be going, I’m assuming you will be too. I’ll see you there!

Not trying to be rude here but any reason as to why this couldn’t happen downtown at the many places that could hold that many people?

I used to attend the AIDS committee silent auctions at the Casino a few years back and it was a great time. I suggest people go out and enjoy themselves it is always a fun evening and all for a great cause.
